Free Friday is Manic’s weekly trading tournament where you can compete for real USDC prizes using Demo Cash.
No real-money entry fee is required. Join the tournament, trade with your Tournament Balance, climb the leaderboard, and finish in the Top 50 to earn a share of the $200 USDC prize pool.
When is Free Friday?
Free Friday runs every week:
Friday, 08:00 UTC to Saturday, 08:00 UTC
Each round lasts 24 hours.
You can join before the tournament begins or while the round is already live.
Registration for the first Free Friday opens Aug 26
The first round starts Aug 28 at 08:00 UTC.

How to Join
- Go to Manic Leaderboard, Select Free Friday
- Click Join Free
- 100 Demo Cash will be deducted from your Demo balance and converted into your starting Tournament Balance
- Start trading once the round goes live
Everyone starts with the same 100 Tournament Balance.
Your Tournament Balance is separate from your Real and Demo accounts and can only be used during the tournament.
How the Leaderboard Works
Free Friday is ranked by your final Tournament Balance.
Everyone starts at $100, and your balance goes up or down based on your tournament trades.
To qualify for a prize, you must complete at least one eligible trade during the round.
At the end of the tournament:
- The Top 50 traders win real USDC prizes
- Ties are ranked by whoever reached the final balance first
- Open positions must settle before the final standings are confirmed
No new positions can be opened during the final 5 minutes of the tournament.
Rebuy and Try Again
If you want another shot, you can use Rebuy.
A Rebuy costs $1 USDC from your real account and resets your Tournament Balance back to $100.
For example:
- Current Tournament Balance: 35
- Rebuy: $1 USDC
- New Tournament Balance: 100
A Rebuy replaces your current balance, it does not add another 100 on top.
There is no limit to the number of Rebuys you can make during a round.
You must close or settle all open tournament positions before using Rebuy.
Prize Distribution
The weekly prize pool is $200 USDC, shared by the Top 50 traders.

How to Claim Your Prize
If you finish in the Top 50:
- Wait for the tournament to end and final standings to be confirmed
- Complete one real-money trade on Manic after the tournament ends
- Return to the Free Friday leaderboard and claim your prize
Prizes are paid in real USDC.
You must claim your prize within 6 days after the round ends. Unclaimed prizes expire after the claim period.
A Rebuy does not count as the real-money trade required to unlock your prize.
